What’s New

I had some time off between contracts, so you probably saw a lot of activity from me over the past several weeks.  In case you didn’t, here’s everything new going on you may have missed!

The Maestoso Interstellar Suite 10 Year Anniversary Edition and Kickstarter Campaign

After releasing Skylines, I immediately began work on The Maestoso Interstellar Suite 10 Year Anniversary Edition (Let’s call it TMIS10YRAE for short).  This release is a labor of love that I have eagerly wanted to start for many months now.

This album is not just a remaster and release of the same album from years ago. This album will be a brand new experience for listeners. The original material will be cleaned up, enhanced, and remastered as well as extended onto a second disc of completely new material. A two-hour space music epic to ease the mind and calm the spirit. A new prelude begins the experience to ease you into the parts and movements on a musical tour through interstellar space.

Thus far, I have completed the slight modifications I wanted to perform on both Part I and Part II, and I’ve completed initial composition of Part III.  Over the next couple of weeks, I hope to complete composition of the final Part IV for the album.

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to try another Kickstarter campaign to help escalate the release of this two hour space music magnum opus, but decided to go ahead and give it a shot.

If you have the time, please visit the campaign page and consider backing this project! Just click here!  If you do, you get a bonus early access preview to both Parts I and III of the new album!  Part III is entirely NEW material for TMIS10YRAE.

And don’t forget about the “Making of…” video series I’m doing as I work on TMIS10YRAE.  Be sure to check it out here!

Skylines Album Review and Interview

I recently did an interview with the wonderful folks at One World Music Radio about my latest album Skylines. We talk about how the album came together and discuss my other projects I have in the pipeline. We also discuss our excitement about The Dark Tower and my future music project on the series.

It was an absolute pleasure speaking with Steve and Chrissie Sheppard and a lot of fun.

You can listen to the interview below, so be sure to check it out!

What’s Next

Here’s a list of things I’m working on next and what’s in store for the future!

More work on TMIS10YRAE

As I noted above, I have completed composition for Part III, and I’m about to embark on composition for Part IV.   When that is complete, it’s yet another series of listens through and taking notes of any additional cleanup issues, and work towards final mixing.  If the kickstarter campaign I mentioned is successful, then I’ll be able to engage a professional mixing and mastering service a lot sooner than I had hoped.  So please consider backing the campaign if your are inclined to do so.
