It’s a revival of sorts. A revival of my musical endeavors, and a revival of the things I once blogged about, but somehow lost motivation and just stopped. I don’t want to let that happen again.
For the longest time, I have meant to move over my history of musical influences posts from my old MSDN blog to my new blog. And I finally decided to do that today, and continue on that series.
I started my history series about the same time I released the original version of The Maestoso Interstellar Suite. Since I just released the 10 year anniversary edition of that album, I thought it would be a great time to also revive my history of musical influences.
These will be living articles that will expand as time goes by and the synapsis in my brain reconnect as I remember events in my life that influenced my own music.
I promise NOT to let another 10 years go by before I create the next entry, so take a read through of the first few parts here, and let me know what you think!
